Dave and his wife Sheryl have been in full-time ministry since 1970, working with Youth Groups in Michigan and Nebraska, and pastored churches in South Dakota, and Mason City, Iowa. They have three married children, seven grandchildren and another one on the way.

God gifted Dave in personal evangelism and since his early teens he has led hundreds into life-giving relationship with Jesus. While pastoring in 1987 the Lord called Dave to a vision he calls:

“Workers into His Harvest ~ Calling… Equipping… Mobilizing...”

He realized that all believers must work together in Biblical unity if we are to get God’s harvest in.

Dave helped to form and lead a local pastors group that prayed for each other and their city. Dave met some missionaries who were leading city-wide prayer in Latin America and soon visited Christ for the City International's city-wide prayer movements in Medellin, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico City. This resulted in three city-wide prayer campaigns in Mason City, IA.

In 1990, Dave and Sheryl left the pastorate and became faith missionaries with CFCI, then moved to Omaha in 1995 to assist in relocating the CFCI International offices to Omaha. In Omaha Sheryl became the U.S. Director of Short Term Team Ministries and Dave connected to the emerging "City-reachers" movement where he helped coordinate various city-wide prayer events.

Dave now applies his gifts as an International Ministry Coach with CFCI where he helps develop and care for emerging ministry leaders plus helps to facilitate creative prayer and evangelism. He currently focuses his ministry activity in Omaha, The Midwest, Tijuana, and Haiti.

In March 2008, Dave was appointed the Omaha Ministry Base Planter. (More on this soon.)
