February 2008:

We are partnering with the Faith Component of Empower Omaha in their desire to "Unite with other churches for city-wide prayer, unity, and repentance."

Empower Omaha leader and Douglas County Treasurer John Ewing identified ten key areas while he was with the Omaha Police Department that were historically high crime areas.  Our plan is to mobilize prayer at these strategic areas.

We did three prayerwalks in North Omaha and one in South Omaha in September and October. All had 80 or more people from churches all over town.

Currently we are doing prayerwalk training workshops at several local churches and Empower Omaha along with Embrace The Heartland In Prayer are sponsoring several  city-wide prayerwalking workshops for me to train leaders in how to do prayerwalks.

In April of 2008 Empower Omaha will sponsor weekly prayerwalks in more strategic neighborhoods.

I am so excited... as a year ago the Lord told me to help call and mobilize people out of the church walls to pray in the streets.
